Because I was the press rep and giving reporters a tour of the convention hall, the Crocs people gave me a baby blue pair AND a hunter orange pair (to be fair the orange ones were really sandals but ugly none the less). They insisted I put them on and wear them RIGHT THEN. Powder blue holy rubber clog things do NOT look professional or classy. Especially when you're wearing a business suit. Plus, when your feet get sweaty they make fart noises. Isn't it embarrassing enough just to be seen wearing Crocs? Do you really need to add insult to ugly? Of course, right in front of us. Why? Isn't there some unwritten rule that begs you to spread out from strangers in a theatre is possible? We didn't move, but we should have.
